Mosaics for Beginners Classes
Come join Krystie Rose and several other fun folks for this great Beginner’s Mosaics class! In this fun and fully interactive course, learn to make your own (indoor) mosaic art piece! Choose from several project bases (frames, plaques, mirrors, etc.), which are included along with ceramic & glass tiles, glass gems, adhesives, grout, and sealer. Students learn the basics of breaking, cutting, arranging, and adhering tiles and complete their design. They go on to learn how to grout and seal their piece and complete the grouting to “bring their piece to life”. This class will help you learn how to make INDOOR mosaics; the correct bases, adhesives, tiles and materials (“tesserae”); if you are interested in learning how to make outdoor mosaics, please register for an Outdoor/Garden Mosaics class.
Information on mosaic basics, setting up a mosaic art workspace, and next-level mosaics will be included in this fun, stress relieving course. Absolutely no previous mosaic experience or ‘artistic ability’ required; come see how easy it is to tap into your creative spirit and learn this wonderful craft! Classes consist of (2) sessions; students are expected to be present during the entire class times/sessions.

Classes consist of (2) 3.5 hr. sessions for a total of 7 hours.
Cost is $75 per student + $25 required materials fee ($30 if need adequate safety glasses)

Even though I’ve emailed you both back, I thought I’d leave a reply here so others can see…
I occasionally offer Beginner’s Mosaic classes on the weekend; mostly Sundays, though. If you had a group of (5) or more,we could probably set up a special time. I also have a new adhesive that would enable us to squish the class into one day rather than having to be two sessions.
I also have a few classes that do not require you to have completed a Beginner’s Class before signing up; Tempered (“Crash”) Glass Mosaics, Outdoor/Garden Mosaics, and Mosaic Jewelry. Each have pages on this website; see links on right hand side.
