You are cordially invited to come down and see my and several other women’s art at July’s CHAC Gallery exhibit, “Girls in the Mix!: Hot Fun in the Summertime!” The show features the work of 10 different Colorado female artists in a variety of media, including mixed media. This is really my first ‘solo’ gallery show, so I’d love to see you come down and check out my large variety of artwork, including many new pieces! The Opening Reception is this Friday, July 6th, from 6:00-10:00 pm. (Gallery actually opens at 2:00 pm that day; feel free to come in before the reception for some less-busy viewing). We’ll be having Spiked Summer Lemonade, margaritas, Mexican beers, and all kinds of fun, Summer-themed goodies! If First Fridays are too crazy for you, come on down for Third Friday on July 20th from 12 – 9 pm! Or, if you want to come when it’s REALLY quiet, come during Gallery Hours:

Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10 am – 4 pm
Fridays, 12 – 6 pm
First Friday, 2 – 10 pm
Third Friday, 12 – 9 pm
Saturday’s, 12 – 4 pm
(Closed Sundays – Tuesdays)

Exhibiting Artists include: Crystal O’Brien, Rebecca Romero, Suzanne Martino, Lisa Diamor Sanchez, Trish Sanchez, Darlene Kuhne, Tammy Yancey, Catherine Salazar, and myself. I have seen their exhibition pieces and they really are quite impressive. Mixed Media Collage, Assemblage, and Mosaic, Paintings, Ceramics, and Jewelry are all included in this amazing mix of art by some truly amazing women. A portion of all proceeds go to supporting CHAC’s cultural and educational programming for kids and adults.
The “Girls in the Mix” exhibit is on display at the CHAC (Chicano Humanities and Arts Council) Gallery at 772 Santa Fe Drive in the Santa Fe Arts District. For driving directions, click here.
