Tiny Tile Mosaics is owned and managed by South Carolina mosaic artist Sally Kinsey.  I met Sally at the 2010 SAMA (Society of American Mosaic Artists) conference in Chicago.  She is a wonderful person; full of life, terrific with customer service, and the owner of a great business with an amazing selection of smaller and micro tiles and beautiful jewelry blanks.

Sally Kinsey, of Tiny Tile Mosaics, at SAMA conference

Most of the jewelry blanks I use for my mosaic jewelry are from Sally.  She knows the exact heights/depths of her different tiles as well as the corresponding heights/depths in her jewelry blanks, so you can make sure your tiles are flush with the top of the blank if that’s the look you’re going for.  She has jewelry blanks for pendants in round, square, diamond, heart, and rectangle shapes as well as earring, bracelet, ring, and belt buckle blanks in several different shapes.  The array of colors, sizes, and shapes of small and micro tiles she carries are just dizzying!  And, because they’re so small, you get quite a few tiles in a package that will last you for some time, without having to put out tons of money!  You can even get micro tiles that are shaped like ‘shards’, circles, triangles, stars, and hearts!  Tiny Tile Mosaics also carries adhesives, mirror and glass tile, and some other wonderful tesserae (materials that go into mosaics).  The Tiny Tile website has a gallery of art made my various mosaic artists and lots of things to give you ideas and spark your imagination.  Here are some of the awesome pieces of art by Sally and some of her faithful customers…

I use Sally’s Tiny Tile Mosaics for my Mosaic Jewelry classes here in Denver.  If you’re interested in learning more about making Mosaic Jewelry, check out my class schedule for more information.  If the date, time, or location doesn’t fit your needs, let’s talk and I can do a custom class for you and 3 or more friends for a very affordable price! Maybe your book club, art group, or women’s group would be interested! Or, how about a Mosaic Jewelry class built into a bridal shower or baby shower?  Some groups have even made matching jewelry to wear for the wedding party!  The possibilities are endless!
